Guide/s & Panel of Examiners for III semester M.Tech. Dissertation

 

While proposing the panel of examiners, the following points shall be taken care.

• In case the candidate has carried out full or part of the work of dissertation outside    the institution, the name of the external guide should be mentioned compulsorily by    giving full details.
• The internal guide may be from other department, if the dissertation work is inter-    disciplinary.
• While proposing the external examiners, care should be taken to list the examiners who    are working in the same field. The examiner may be drawn from other departments in    case of work is of interdisciplinary type.
• If the work is carried out in an industry, the list of proposed examiners should contain    at least one examiner from the industry and should be well experienced in the field.
• The external examiner proposed should be at least of Assistant Professor or Selection    grade lecturer cadre preferably with Ph. D., if they are from educational institutions.
To the extent possible, do not suggest the same examiner for more than three dissertations.
